What can Reiki offer you? What benefits can you expect from a Reiki session? While each experience is different, you may reasonably expect:

While Reiki is not intended as a substitute for conventional medicine, many thousands of people have found it helpful in building physical, spiritual and emotional resilience.

Our Reiki Services are provided by the Rev. Dr. Bates, a well-known Reiki Master Teacher with over twenty years of experience. She offers individual Reiki Sessions both in person and online, Reiki Training, Placements and Ignitions in the Usui, Usui/Holy Fire® III, and Karuna Reiki® systems for all levels.

Dr. Bates calls her approach LifeWays Reiki because Reiki is a practice that can transform all areas of a person’s life and is not just relaxing on a padded table.

In addition to private sessions in our office or on Zoom, Dr. Bates will also do home, hospital, and nursing home visits, as well as Distant Animal Reiki for companion animals of all kinds (with computer video connection if desired) using the Let Animals Lead Reiki system developed by Kathleen Prasad and used by SARA, the Shelter Animal Reiki Association.
