Yes it is. While many people habitually spell my name Charles Scott Giles, the correct spelling is to use only one "t." I realize this is an unusual spelling as "Scot" ordinarily means "someone from Scotland." While I am in fact Scots-Irish, my mother didn't understand the different meanings when she named me.

As a joke, I often respond that I am a liberal Christian and have only one cross to bear.
