The service I offer is properly called Complementary Medical Hypnotism in that it aims to make the services you receive from your physician more helpful and complete. In my case I typically work with the permission of your physician or medical care-giver to help you cope with the side-effects and stress of your treatment, or to deal with the emotional aftermath of an illness. My work is intended to make the medical services you receive more effective and comfortable.

Research has strongly suggested that patients who receive hypnotic help do better, and that's not surprising. People who are eating better, sleeping better, in less discomfort and who are more optimistic will do better with almost any medical condition. We have consistently found that participants in my ICAN program at La Grange Memorial Hospital for cancer patients show great resilience and improved comfort and survival when tracked over a ten-year period.

Please note that I do not practice Alternative Medicine. That is, my services are not intended to replace the services of your physician. I work alongside the medical community, not in competition with it.
