Connecticut Physician Discipline Data, 1998 to 2002
(168K)This is a file for my Connecticut colleagues. The National Guild of Hypnotists will seek a law in Connecticut that makes any sexual abuse of a client by a helping professional a felony. Currently, licensed health care professionals who commit such abuse are shielded from public disclosure in many states, including Connecticut. Hearings to explore such issues take place behind the closed doors of state license boards. This file obtained by the Guild discloses how many physicians in Connecticut were privately sanctioned in this way between 1998-2002. -

File related to my Blog article on Entrapment
(278K)This file is a story from the *Washington Post* about an organization that may be of interest to colleagues who have read my Blog article entitled *Entrapment.* The file is posted here for the general interest of my hypnosis colleagues who may be considering using a service company to help run a practice. By posting this file I am not accusing Method One Hypnosis, Phoenix One Hypnosis nor the Hypnosis Wellness Center of being a company that runs itself like the "Beastcorp" in my Blog article. Instead, I encourage colleagues to read this story and decide for themselves what they think of these providers. -

NGH Audio Recording FAQ
(164K)So many colleagues have asked me for help in setting up office recording systems that I created a FAQ on how to do this that covers most of the information a person needs. The National Guild of Hypnotists has adopted this as an unofficial FAQ on the topic and it is a permanent posting in the Members Forum of the National Guild of Hypnotists. I maintain a copy here for those who cannot access the Forum -

Sample Workshop Catalogue
(248K)Colleagues often ask me for advice on how to build a successful hypnotism practice. So I've posted this document as an example of what I did. I do no advertising for my services. Everything is by client or physician referral, and it's all word-of-mouth. How I did this was to create a catalogue of free workshops that I would do for any interested community group. I would go anywhere and talk to anyone in order to get known. I did this until the year 2000 when it was no longer needed. This file is the workshop catalogue I used for that year. Feel free to use it to get ideas that might help your practice.
